Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor is an American actor-producer and stage actress is known for playing in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She earned an B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue is an American actor also known as producer and director. She is employed in film and television. Her career began as an actor in theater and then went on to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. In the following year, she made appearances on BET's acclaimed TV series The Book of Negroes. Her first professional performance was in the role of Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. On Broadway she was a part of the cast as a character in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. In the film industry her most well-known roles are roles such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. In the world of television, her character on ABC's drama about police High Incident is well known.
